What a Great Bowling Night! A Special Thanks from HMESF President

Thank you to everyone who attended our Bowling Event last Thursday evening.  First and foremost, I want to welcome the “Events and Fundraising Committee,” (E&FC) to the HMESF family. This was our first collaborative effort and marks the future of HMESF.  Congratulations!

We held our night of fun and bowling at Bowlmor Lanes in Times Square. It was a great night of food, drinks, and bowling! All ten lanes were filled with bowlers putting up big numbers on the scoreboards. Not everyone was lucky enough to be the best bowler, but we had a great array of raffle items so some lucky winners didn’t leave empty-handed.

  • Elie Tahari Orchid Clutch
  • Conde Naste Lucky Beauty Bag
  • Kima Physiotherapy 60-minute Therapeutic Stress Reduction Massage
  • NYC Points Acupuncture 3 Sessions
  • Butterfly Studios Haircut and Color with Addy Palencia
  • Park Avenue Tavern $100 Gift Certificate
  • The One Group- STK Meatpacking Dinner for 2 Gift Certificate
  • Bowlmor Lanes $100 Gift Certificate
  • Harlow Dinner for 2 Gift Certificate

I felt overwhelming support from everyone who came out. We had long-time supporters, new friends, volunteers and allies at Bowlmor!

When my father, Richard Marks, and I set out to establish HMESF in 2007, we did it purely out of love and respect for my mother. It was out intention to honor her commitment and continue her great work to improve the quality of childhood education. We started this organization with the support and dedication of a small group of friends and family friends, who helped create the foundation, initiatives, and programs that put HMESF on the map.

I appreciate your continued support, enthusiasm, and hard work. Whether you volunteered, donated, or attended Thursday night, you are all now considered "friends of HMESF."

I know my mother would be very proud and honored to work with each and every one of you, just as my father and I are.

Warmly,
Jaime Marks, President
